Brighton-based songwriter and DIY producer Dog In The Snow has been a firm favourite here at TMR for quite some time. Returning today with a soothing new single, we're reminded why. Originally commissioned for the second episode of a dystopian fiction podcast called The People Outside (written by Bella Heesom and featuring Emma Dennis Edwards), 'Sound Of The Ocean', washes with with pristine synth sounds and stirring electronic undercurrents. Subtly layering her calming vocals, 'Sound Of The Ocean' nods to some of Bat For Lashes more restrained works, whilst retaining Dog In The Snow's unique and enchanting character.
